Hi,
I have configuration with 3 clusters each with 2 nodes : one on principal site and 2 two remote site.
The arbiter is installed on principal site for all the 3 clusters.
The objective is to upgrade from 3.7.0 to 3.7.7. I have already update arbtier and vCenter pluggin.
When i execute the update manager during inventory host/OVC on remote site appear with no version and ready for upgrade.
On the vSphere client, i can see error on the remote site OVC during the inventory on Monitor=>Task&Event tab: Simplivity Upgrade => Coul not reach the arbiter.
I have check communication between element: vcenter, upgrade manager machine, ovc, arbiter.
Ping latency between OVC and arbiter:
- remote site 1: 100 ms
- remote site 2: 800 ms
Any idea?
Shoud i deploy a local arbiter on each remote site due to the latency?

Re: Error during upgrade manager inventory: cound not reach the arbiter.
Hi there Ric,
What do you see if you run an svt-federation-show on one of the OVCs? Does the arbiter show as connected for all OVCs?
If you've got 800ms latency I'd definitely recommend remote arbiters.
Regards,
Greg
