Hello, does the "classic" SPP for Proliant apply to the SimpliVity GEN 10 server ? I guess yes but I would like to have a confirmation.
Regards

SolutionThe SPP includes components for HPE Prolient server and enclosure systems, software and firmware. The SPP image contains a comprehensive collection of firmware and system software components including drivers, agents, tools and utilities. The SPP is tested, managed and deployed as a single solution.
So yes is the answer. You Have:
SUT Smart Update Tool (HPE OneView, iLo amplifier and SUM)
SUM Smart Update Manager (Preferred engine for updates)
SPP Custom Download (web service for creating SPPs)
SPP Service Pack for Prolient (Collection of smart componenets)
Smart Components (self extracting)

While I work for HPE, any personal opinions expressed are mine, and not official statements on behalf of HPE.
