HPE Simplivity buying models - perpetual, subscription or both?

Hi everyone.

Can someone please confirm what are HPE Simplivity buying models? Is it perpetual (entitling usage rights without requiring renewal parts), or subscription (term based, meaning that unless renewed it will ends usage rights), or if both?

And how does one account for the licensed components? Is it CPU, RAM, Disk, Nodes?

Thank-you!

Mike

Hi @BigMike9

Thanks for using the forum.

SimpliVity sells a perpetual license. The GreenLake consumption based model is also gaining a lot of traction, and may be worth investigating/enquiring about. This blog post is worth a read to help understand more about the GreenLake option.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
