Recently, I have had some legagy support questions come up. I hope this information clarifies on how we handle other vendors hardware for the customer-
Lenovo https://datacentersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/
IBM https://www.ibm.com/support/home/warranty-lookup
Cisco call or email tac@cisco.com - may need customer’s CCO username
Dell https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Products/?app=warranty
> Call the manufacturer’s support line to open a case.
> HPE can call Dell directly.
> The other manufacturers want to hear directly from the customer.

c. Customer contact (name, phone numbers, email) and maybe site contact
d. Location of equipment for dispatch or shipping address for CSR
e. Scheduling (SBD, NBD) and customer availability

While I work for HPE, any personal opinions expressed are mine, and not official statements on behalf of HPE.
