Portgroup and VLAN change

It would create any issue if the portgroup and VLAN ID of the "management" network of the OVC is changed ?

The IP would remain the same, and also the storage and federation networks would not be changed

thanks

Re: Portgroup and VLAN change

Hi Stefano Colombo,

Thank you for coming on HPE Community forums.

1.Ans. It will not cause any issues in the day to day running of the OVC, however if you go to redploy the nodes after changing the port group name, deployment manager expects the OVC to be on "VM Network" and if not then the deployment will fail. Support usually have to deploy the node via a manual cli process.

2.Ans. Ensure VLANs are same for both the port groups. For example: Management network and VM network.

Hope this helps..!

Sanika.
