Re: Simplivity different storage sizes on a single federation
Hello @simonsimon1129
Thank you for using HPE Simplivity Forum.
Are you planning to put them all under the same cluster? I would think it's fine for them to be on the same federation but I would group the nodes with similar hardware in separate clusters.
I am an HPE employee.

Re: Simplivity different storage sizes on a single federation
You should be fine. Make sure the hosts are compatible with the software version you plan on installing.

Re: Simplivity different storage sizes on a single federation
hi, so it is possible in the same federation, nodes with different characteristics, for example 2 small nodes and 2 medium nodes, but in different cluster?
regards

Re: Simplivity different storage sizes on a single federation
Yes. You need to keep like hardware in same cluster as stated before and you need to run the same verision of SimpliVity in a cluster. You can have a mixed Federation but not a mixed cluster.
