Re: vCenter Permision denied after adding Nodes with DNS name
Hello,
so i´ve disconnected the node and re-added it with the IP address, rebooted OVC, checked logs, same error persitst. Renamed the node with given command, checked logs, same error. Rebooted OVC, checked logs, same error. Tried digitalvault ini, no changes, same error.
It seems whatever i´m doing, it has no affect. At the moment i´m thinking of redeploying the OVC.

SolutionHello to all,
after opening a ticket with the support the error could be solved.
dsv-update-vcenter -server vCenter-IP --username 'administrator@vsphere.local' --password 'Password'
After entering the command with the ' and rebooting the OVC the error disappeared. Pretty easy solution but nowhere to find.
Best regrads,
Nick
