About SDDQ of SN6000B: SN6000BのSDDQについて

Google Translated

I would like to implement a function to disconnect the corresponding port when Slow Drain Device is detected by using the SN switch.

Please refer to the MAPS manual of the switch, but check the following.

-If only port invalidation, should I just add SDDQ to the MAPS action?
Is it necessary to add a separate MAPS rule?

-QoS is required to use the function. Is QoS license-free?
Also, is QoS zoning necessary?

Hi ntaka,

-If only port invalidation, should I just add SDDQ to the MAPS action?
Is it necessary to add a separate MAPS rule?  >>> Correct. Use the 'mapsconfig --actions and include SDDQ as one of the actions.

-QoS is required to use the function. Is QoS license-free?
Also, is QoS zoning necessary?  >> Yes, the Quality of Service (QoS) must be enabled to use the SDDQ feature. And QoS can be configured without the license in FOS 7.2.0 and above. QoS zoning is not mandatory.
