Hallo,
we have two P4300 in a single Site with a FOM.
The FOM has become unavalible due to a hardware crash. Both P4300 were down due to a power faliture (normal shutdown)
Now, after powering on again the Cluster is in maintainance mode. Only one P4300 is running Manager, we can see (and ping) the other machine, but we cant login.
We have restored the FOM from Backup, but it is rejected by the management group. We've also tried to set up a new FOM, remove the old FOM from group and add the new one. so far so good, but we can't remove the old one from Group.
P.S.This thread has been moved from Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Small and Medium Business) to HP StoreVirtual / HP LeftHand Storage- HP Forums Moderator

Re: 2x P4300G2 sngle Site, no Quorum
To regain Quorum is it possible to set up a VSA as 3rd storage unit in the management group?
The VSA would be on a much slower hardware.

Re: 2x P4300G2 sngle Site, no Quorum
was node without the manager originally running a manager?
I believe in the CLI you should be able to force quotum
I would try powering off both nodes and starting them up again. If that doesn't work, its time to call support.
