Application Aware Snapshot Manager and Vmware/Vcenter VSA 10.5

I am using Application Aware Snapshot Manager for Windows/VSS and I can configure the

credentials in the "Authentication Console".

I will use this for VMware and Vcenter, but I cant get the information for the vcenter credentials in the Manual

for Application Aware Snapshot Manager

Where I can define the credentials for Vcenter/Vmware?

Hi,

You must do thins inside the CMC on Host level.

Edit an existing host, or by creating a new one, you can specify in the properties window a setting called "Controlling Server IP address".

That is describe in the Manual,  "Controlling Server"

You get the message "wrong credentials"

But you need credentials for the vcenter system, thats the questions

Hi,

Did you install the Application Aware Snapshot Manager software on the vCenter server? There you have to enter the credentials that you use to connect to the CMC...

Installed it that way on my environment and this is working fine like it should be...

on the Vcenter server where you install the Application Aware Snapshot Manager it creates a service( i think pegasus something).

change the service to run as a local server administrator and not local service
