Gateway Connection - Failed

Hi,

I just created a new Server on our MultiSite SAN. I assigned a new volume and when I look under iSCSI Sessions the gateway connection is showed as Failed to one of the storage nodes.

Any ideas why this may be? The storage node is up and other volumes are assigned fine to it

Thanks
Lisa

Re: Gateway Connection - Failed

When you make changes, it will sometimes cause your connections to drop and reconnect. For example, if you remove a node from a cluster (or reboot it), any connections to it will fail. They SHOULD recover shortly after.

If you refresh the connections does the failed connection come back or get replaced?

Re: Gateway Connection - Failed

The failed connection eventually went away. As Bryan said, sometimes it can take some time but usally sorts itself out and in this case it did which is great!
