HP 4300 FoM - "offline".... but it's not
We have 2-node P4300 G2 SAN recently installed, with the FoM vAppliance installed, running off one of the Production hosts, but living on non-p4300 Storage.
In the CMC, it tells me the FoM is offline - I can't log it in.
It has 2 interfaces - one to our production network and another to the iSCSI SAN network, and I can ping both IP addresses from the CMC (which also has interfaces to both of those networks).
I have restarted the FoM, rebooted it, but it wont come back online.

Re: HP 4300 FoM - "offline".... but it's not
the FOM should only have a nic on the iSCSI network. change it to just the one NIC, verify the correct netmask and gateway and all should work.
How did you end up with two nics on the FOM? the default install is with one. If removing that 2nd one doesn't work, I would just remove the old FOM and reinstall a new one since it takes all of 15 minutes to create one and join it to a mgt group.

Re: HP 4300 FoM - "offline".... but it's not
glad to hear it works. all the FOMs I've installed have been on hyper-v... guess they put in two NICs in esx, but I"m not sure why since 100% of VSA traffic is all on the iSCSI network.
