Solution
There are MIBs available on the management CD.
you can download that here...
www.hp.com/go/P4000downloads
SIM is not compatible with P4000 yet though, a March 2010 release of P4000 firmware will change the SNMP on the backend so it can work with SIM.

When this firmware update is released will it need any more ports other than SNMP, NTP and SMTP between the lefthand box and SIM?
