HP P4300 Installation
We got 2 P4300 starter kits. I have hooked them up to the network. I assigned an IP address to both Port1 and Port2 on each of the Nodes. When in the SAN/IQ software I only see one of the two IP address for each node is that correct?
Thanks!!

Re: HP P4300 Installation
Unless you are setting the nodes up for a specific scenerio, you should configure the NICs for ALB. Doing this, you'll only assign one IP address and the units will use both paths when using MPIO.

Re: HP P4300 Installation
Yes that is correct, if you go to CMC > group > cluster > store systems > Networks and then the communication tab you will see you select 1 NIC to be the SANiQ port. Like was mentioned before you should bond the 2 NIC's together so that you have failover.
