HP store virtual 4000 - serial numbers?

 I am trying to raise a support case with HP regarding our HP store Virtual 4000. To be able to raise a support case I require a serial number. I only have Entitlement order muners. How and where can I get ther serial numbers from?

Or 

How else can I raise a support case with HP to look at the issue.

You can read the serial from the chassis or ILO/LO-100 interface (webpage).

The VSA's I have are all software based, I am virtulising the hardware from a ML350 Gen 8 server.

You did not tell it is VSA.

Is it a hardware problem? Then refer to the servers serial.

appologies sorry forgot to say that it was a vsa. The issue im having is to do with licencing but to raise a support case HP want the vsa serial numbers so not sure how to get them or how to raise a support case for a vsa.

At the time you create the license key it asks for a MAC address.  From that point on, the licenese it tied to that mac address.  I would try the mac address as the serial number.  My licesne files (the .dat ones I got from that process) are all in the format of TA686AB_XX.XX.XX.XX.XX.XX_#.dat , where XX is the mac address of the VSA and the # is something I"m not sure about.  Do you have those files?
