How do I monitor P4500 using HP SIM/Insight?

Hi. I can't seem to find any info on how to monitor my P4500 solution using HP SIM/Insight Control, neither here nor in the rest of the HP web site.

I would like at least complete hardware monitoring.

Any hints? Thanks in advance!

Hello.  To monitor via SIM I recommend going through the SIM user guide.  You will need to configure SNMP in the CMC to point to your SIM server.  Then use the Invenory in SIM to find your systems and add them to SIM.

I also recommend installing the latest MIBs kit as they contain MIBs for StoreVirtual:

Though they do not contain the absolute latest updates for the StoreVirtual systems, they should work.  Additionally, if you want to get the latest MIBs installed for StoreVirtual, you can download them and manually install them using the tools that come with SIM.
