How to collect historical data from HP StoreVirtual VSA??

 I need to schedule performance data collection on more LeftHand clusters. For example, I would like to collect performance data for 3 days between 10:00 AM and 12:00 AM and between 15:00 PM and 17:00 PM.

Can I schedule data collection so that I have data easy to be compared?

Does data collection impact on performance?

Sorry, the GUI does not have automation that allows you to schedule a performance collection run. You will need to start them manually at your preferred time.

I have not seen a case where performance collection caused any noticeable performance impact on iSCSI traffic. Depending on the number of metrics being monitored, your CMC workstation may become loaded down. If you monitor too many metrics, the CMC will not be able to log all of them and you will have gaps in the data. Reduce the number of metrics or lengthen the sample interval if that happens.
