Lefthand management group creation error

I am trying to add two p4300s to same Management group at the same site but the group creation fails with:

array at ip X.X.X.X does not have /etc/lefthand/data mounted reload OS

Strange thing is I can login into the array all diagnostics are clean everything appears normal. Only issue is trying to create a management group

try re-upgrading the node OS?  MIght be a corrupt install.

I take it these are brand new nodes?

When you say you are trying to add them to a management group are you using the wizzard and adding them at the same time?

Have you tried to just add one at time to see if it is both or just one node?

Yes we are using the wizard and we are adding them at the same time. The wizzard will not allow me to create a group or add nodes any other way

three weeks and still a problem?  HP Support should be able to troubleshoot this one in a day or less.  Give them a call.

Without any other details, it sounds like maybe you have a network communication issue.

Dont use the wizzard.

Just create a management group.

then trying adding the node.

If it hangs... you have a network problem.

wrong vlan, no communicaton between CMC and node etc.
