Linux NIC redundancy and load-balancing recommendation

When using P4000 iSCSI volumes with a Linux box which has two network interfaces dedicated to iSCSI traffic connected to two separate switches, what is the recommended method to achieve redundancy and load-balancing?

We could register the two network interfaces as iSCSI interfaces using iscsiadm and then use dm-multipath or we could configure the two network interfaces as a bond using balance-alb. Is either of these configurations supported or recommended by HP or is there another better way?

Re: Linux NIC redundancy and load-balancing recommendation

We are hoping the above question will be addressed for Citix XenServer as well...

We tried to setup multi-pathing but it seemed like multi-pathing would only work in XenServer if you had seperate VIP's on seperate subnets.
