Linux volumes

I am planning to present the disk form lefthand p4500 to my redhat 6.2

1. Does redhat has iSCSI initiator?

2. If I want extend the disk on Linux server is it possible to do it on the fly just like in windows?

Here is a good blog post on this:  http://jreypo.wordpress.com/category/storage/

Make sure to install the latest version of the iSCSI initiator utils from the Red Hat Network.  Older versions had a major bug where on shutdown the NIC was disabled before the iscsi volumes were dismounted.  This has been fixed in the latest version.

Re: Linux volumes

Thank you. this answers my first question. How about if I want to increase the volume in size?

In windows it is done on the fly, how about linux?
