MS iSCSI Showing reconnecting after reboot

Hi Guys,
I have been playing with the MS iscsi initiator on W2K3 SP1. Whenever i reboot the drives dont reconnect, and in the targets tab of the iscsi intiator it shows reconnecting all the time.
I have set the reconnect option when it was connected, the service dependency and the bind all volumes.
I was also told by a HP engineer in a VMware VM dont install the HP DSM MPIO as it isnt supported. Is this correct and has anyone seen this problem before?
Thanks
DC

When I was on my training for lefthand's someone else said that they ran into issues using DSM and vmware, they removed the DSM and used the standard MS MPIO and they got much better performance.

Maybe just try removing the DSM and see what happens? Also as a test, does it stay connected if you dont use MPIO?

I will give it a go with the MS MPIO and let you know how it looks after that.
