Move VSA from ESXi to Hyper-V possible?

Hi,

we would like to switch from ESXi VSA installations to Hyper-V 2012. Is this possible without loosing the data? Data is written directly to the disk.

I am not sure if we setup a VSA on Hpyer-V2012 and just move the storage, if the new installation would recognize everything, that was on those disks?

Surely we first have to upgrade all to version 10 before proceeding so that we don't have any version mismatch, but I am not sure if that is supported at all...

Thanks

Patrick

are you running raid 0 or only have one VSA and you have to keep it on the same hardware?  If you are in raid1 you should be fine to just trash one VSA at a time and recreate it and then let it resync before repeating the process.  IF you only have one VSA, then you should just get some cheap hardware and run a temporary VSA and the trial keys which should give you plenty of time to make the same migration.

We don't want to maintain 2 Hypervisor Solutions - and since our Infrastructure is built on Hyper-V 2012 Cluster this would fit ...
