Need Script to access latest remote snapshot for backup
I am trying to find out if there is a script I can use (and what process I would go through to use it)to automatically allow a Windows backup server to mount the latest remote snapshot on Lefthand SAN/IQ ver 8 and run a backup.I am hoping to be able to set a backup server at a remote location and on a daily basis attach to the latest remote snapshot. Backup that volume to tape, disconnect and repeat the cycle the next day. I would also have more than one Remote volume I would like to run this process on daily. Has anyone had success with this and maybe already have some scripts or samples I could use.
Thanks
Ray

Re: Need Script to access latest remote snapshot for backup
I just answered a different thread that was asking for the sample scripts.
Check this thread and see if the samples help...

Re: Need Script to access latest remote snapshot for backup
Hi RMore
I have the same problem with lefthand and the last Snapshot.
The link in the other post do not work.
do you have on script valid for autoconnect the last Snap?
I have this script but only works if the server have only one LUN connected.
Thx
