P4000 management network
Hi
Is it possible to separate management network from production Iscsi SAN
with lefthand machines P4500 or P4300
I need to get SNMP traps and SMTP mail and my Iscsi network is a closed network
I saw how to get SMTP mail using mail relay but there is no solution for SNMP
any help would be appreciated
Regards

Re: P4000 management network
Hey there!
Reading from your post I get that you want to get SNMP traps from other NICs than the ones used for ISCSI.
To My knowledge, that is not possible. The Operating system ie. "SAN IQ" has no other interfaces to send stuff on apart from the two nics that you most likely will use for ISCSI.
Question. How are you managing your P4000 ?
/C
