I'm trying to find a best practices guide on vlanning the P4500

Hi,

Ideally you don't need to think about it.

Your P4500 should be on an isolated network, with access (untagged) ports on every associated interface, and no routing between it and its targets.

Obviously this becomes a larger question if you are talking multi-site.
