P4500 SAN/iQ 9.5 Session limitation for Windows 2008 R2 and the HP Windows DSM
I thought that the session limitation on the P4000 SAN/iQ 9.0 and higher was increased from 64 to 256 when using Persistent Group Reservations with Windows 2008 R2 clusters. Is there something that needs to be done to enable the use of PGRs, as a customer seems to be hitting a cap still at 64 in Hyper-V clusters? Certainly a work around is to not use the HP DSM for Windows.

Re: P4500 SAN/iQ 9.5 Session limitation for Windows 2008 R2 and the HP Windows DSM
The PGR limit is 256 connections per initiator.
This was introduced in 9.0 http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01886197/c01886197.pdf See page 5.
Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the DSM/MPIO software.
