P4500 multisite 2 hdd failure
Hello,
we are implementing a new P4500 multisite, and we are simulating some failover / failback features. We are testing two simultaneous hdd failure on the same raidset. When the hdds has removed, the system has gone in RAID OFF on the volume, and cannot be able to repair it.
The management console tell to remove from the cluster and from management group the node, but is not possible, because the system wants the same node number on both sites (primary and secondary).
My collegue as rebooted the node, entered into the SmartArray setup and put on again the raidset, but I think there is some other way to repair this kind of failure.
We have not found any troubleshooting document about this.
Can anyone help me about this case ?
thanks in advance
Davide
