Queue depth

Running ESX 4.0 U1 with 2 node 7.2 SAS setup.
RAID 5 network raid 2 (best practise)

Configured 4 VMKernel ports with MPIO round robin.

Storage vmotioned 4 severs to one volume.
3 normal 1 high i/o

Now when i check the peformance monitor in CMC i found out that i had small spikes in my queue depth to 100!! Now i was how it's possible that this happens with only 4 VM's in production. I red the article about http://frankdenneman.nl/2009/03/increasing-the-queue-depth/ how to change the queue depth in ESX 4 but i was wondering what you guys see in your CMC.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Queue depth

Now what i found out is that the scale was on 100. I'm wondering wich one is correct.

It's now 1 in the scale.

Re: Queue depth

It's really not 100, but 1, as shown in the table on the bottom of your screenshot.
