Recommendation for iSCSI and replication

We are looking to get 2 iSCSI storage units, they will be placed in different locations. We are looked at replication of the iSCSI units over a software based (i.e. Windows Server DFS). Ideal would be 1U or 2U that we can start with say 1-2TB in RAID10. 

 

What HP models specifically would we look at, and where be good place to start reading on how the replication works.
