StoreVirtual VSA 11.5 Adaptive Optimization "not capable"

I have recently upgraded the CMC to 11.5 since then if I add new VSA's (version 11 and 11.5) they say they are not capable of adaptive optimization.

I have double and tripple checked all the settings. They are configured with 3 disks (OS 0:0, Disk 1:0 and Disk 1:1)

Never had a problem before.  I am deployed with the OVF

anyon else seeing this problem? it shouldnt be a licnse problem as they are still under the trial, I have added a 10TB license key to one and still doesnt show that I can set the Tiers.

Makes no sense

Hi

Did you configure the disks as tier 1 and tier 0

if you use "HP StoreVirtual VSA 2014 Installer for VMware vSphere (TA688-10522.exe)"

it does all the configuration for you.

Re: StoreVirtual VSA 11.5 Adaptive Optimization "not capable"

do you have at 10TB+ license for the VSAs?  Also, not sure about the esx installer, but the hyper-v one asks during setup if the VSA is going to need the AO feature.  Presumably, if you do not select that option it will not offer it later.
