VSA Cluster Power OFF One Node

I have a 2 node cluster and I would like to power off one of the units, which appears to be the "stand by unit" due to no disk activity lights, to move it to a different location in the rack. Do you reccommend power the entire cluster down or can I just power this stand by unit down, move it, power it back up and it will just re-sync.

Re: VSA Cluster Power OFF One Node

Hi

If you have a FOM or virtual manager working you can power off one node and

when it comes back up the cluster will re-sync.

remember to start the virtual manager on the remaining node.

if you have a FOM working you don't have to do anything.

Regards

give a KUDO if this helps
