VSS Windows 2008 R2 And Netbackup 6.5.6

Has anyone sucessfully got this working with the above, Im getting various errors and im unable to create a application managed snapshot. I have installed the latest solution pack 8.5 and the cmc and configured the authentication console and no joy.

any help would be appreciated the error code from cmc is 8004230c.
