doubt about converting a volume from full to thin provisioned
Hi,
I have a question about converting a volume from full to thin, we have a problem of space in a cabine and we are thinking to do this. Somebody know if we can do this without anyproblem. there is some data that we need to know before do it to avoid damage to databases, etc.
Thank you in advance

Re: doubt about converting a volume from full to thin provisioned
Hi,
Yes you can change a volume online from Full to Thin provisioning...
Be sure that you have alerting enabled, to avoid that the boxes will run out of disk space...
Kr,
Bart
