how to configure the mgmt port on P4300

hello

we have some lefthand P4300 boxes and did not know how to configure the management port on the back of the bl185 g5.

did anyone know how to do this?

By management port i suppose you mean the iLO on the boxes.

I'm not sure if you are able to configure that from the CMC - but since it'a a regular proliant, i would assume you can just F8 into the iLO Options ROM at boot and configure it like any other proliant.

I'm having the same issue, and it's not a real ILO, it's the HP ProLiant Lights-Out 100i remote management. There is no F8 option during boot and there isn't a tag on the server with the DNS name and default password.

Ah okay.

You're right, its "only" the ilo 100i thats in these machines.

You need to set the ip address in the BIOS.
