Synergy change to DNS

Hi Synergy & Image Streamer SME's

My team needs to change the FQDN suffixe from hostname.plano.net to hostname.inc.net for all synergy equipment and the servers that reside on it.  (48 Synergy Frames, many composers & images streamers & SAN).

Has anyone done this?  Our fear is we need to redo all golden images, start from scratch but I think there must be a better way!  I've searched the blogs an support materials and cannot find any examples.  

ANY help/ideas greatly appreciated!
