change deployment plan via API

I'm using the OneView plugin for vmware orchestrator and I'm trying to change the deployment plan on a server profile template.

The composer/oneview accepts my call (it's logged as successful in the activity log) but the plan never changes. I looked at the json of the server profile template before and after the call in vmware orchestrator and I can see the os deployment plans has the new uri but there's no change to the deployment plan on the synergy side and no error.

Is what I'm trying to do not possible or is there something else that needs to be done that I'm missing?
