synergy mezzazine card virtual nic support
I'm the newbie at the synergy. I don't understand a few step. How can do connect from mezzazine card connect to interconnect? And how much support a virtual nic (Flexnic I guess they're both same) each mezzazine card?

Re: synergy mezzazine card virtual nic support
Hello,
Welcome to Synergy !.
I think you are looking for how the port mapping is done ?
In synergy blade we have 3820c CNA card used mostly.
This is a Dual port Mezz card and its port named as below.
Mezz 3:1 >> This is hardwired connection to VC module in ICM 3 >> VC module port number is equal to Server Bay number 1. (Example: Mezz 3:1 port of Blade 1 is downlink Port 1 of VC module in ICM 3)
Mezz 3:2 >> This is hardwired connection to VC module in ICM 6. >> VC module port number is equal to Server Bay number 1. (Example: Mezz 3:2 port of Blade 1 is downlink Port 1 of VC module in ICM 6)
Each port of Mezz card support 4 Flex NICs.
Mezz 3:1-a, 3:1-b, 3:1-c & 3:1-d
Mezz 3:2-a, 3:2-b, 3:2-c & 3:2-d
Hope this helps.
