Changing many switch baselines?

Changing many switch baselines?

Thanks to previous responses, I know how to go to each switch and change a baseline for each swtich one at a time.  But if I do a image upgrade, the audit baseline will show a difference with simply an acknowledgment of the new OS level.  If I do this for over 100 switches, it becomes painful to go one by one to establish the new baseline.

So, is it possible to baseline many switches/devices at a time?   After all, if I look at the audit before doing a bunch of updates and then again after I do a bunch of updates, I am pretty sure the differences are due to my actions and not a hacker.  It would save me a lot of time if I could re-baseline in mass as opposed to one at a time.

Re: Changing many switch baselines?

Tim,

I am looking to do exactly this - did you manage to find the solution or has anyone else found a way to do this. Seems like something you should be able to do en-masse after an upgrade.

Re: Changing many switch baselines?

Finally managed to find out how to do this though it was not intuitive :0)

You need to go to Configuration Center, Software Library,

Select the release you want, Under operation select Make Baseline

From there you can either apply to one or more devices or based on model (which is more likely)
