DNS Name for Devices

Hope someone can help.

All of our devices have been added to iMC using the SysName as the device label. Often it would be useful to also be able to see the DNS Name on the device information. Has anyone been able to add this as a custom field or something - this would be really useful for us and avoid you having to seperately interrogate DNS. 

I am aware you can change it so that the device name is DNS name in the systems setting but I am concerned that this will very effectively screw other things up such as compliance tasks etc. that have been setup based on existing labels. What I want to do is add a field in the device name that shows the DNS Name.
