Display System or DNS Name Label in Topology View

Hello,

We use IMC ver 7.3 with 300 switches and routers.
The topology view displays only IP address. (to view the system name I need to press the right button) How can I display the system name instead of the ip address in the topology view?

Many thanks,
Pablo

Not sure if it will work, but you could try going to System -> System Settings, and look at the option for Device Info Display:

  1. Select an option from the Device Info Display list to configure how device information is displayed: by IP address, device label, or both. Options include Device Label (IP), Device Label Only, and IP Only

Re: Display System or DNS Name Label in Topology View

Maybe I'm misunderstanding?

But if you right click on a blank area you can set the device label to show any of ip, lable, sysname, vendor, type or model. See image

For me toplolgy view remembers this setting, and I do have different settings for different topology views.

7.3 E0504P02 now but same previously, so maybe it survives by update if you can't set it now.
