Exporting data to Excel or other Applications with IMC

With IMC, once the auto discovery is completed.  Is it possible to save or export the data to excel or some other applications?

Thanks,

Re: Exporting data to Excel or other Applications with IMC

You can choose Report option to generate file(s) that you need.

The format they provided has 4: MSExcel,PDF,CSV and MSExcel(Data-only).

The data you can generate are listed as below:

Custom View Data Summary Report,Device Asset Report, Device Summary Report.

I reckon above are what you need, but if you require any others. Our standard version provided 55 template and you also can create your template to generate report (and send it to your email by daily, weekly, monthly or yearly)

Re: Exporting data to Excel or other Applications with IMC

Thanks!

What I wanted to is to save data such as Performance Monitor (CPU, Memory, Device Reachiblity rate etc)  so I can present it to my manager.

Right now, when I clikc on Performace Monitor View from Resources.  I see the real time data with charts, but how do I save it to thirty party application for managment to look at it.

Thanks,

Re: Exporting data to Excel or other Applications with IMC

Pleasse follow below instruction

Click "Report" -> "Add Scheduled Report"

Fill in the "Template Name" by click "Select".

Through the new window tick "Performance View Summary Report"

Select the "Report File Format" with MSExcel,PDF,CSV or MSExcel-(Data-only)

 Also tick below option:

Begin Time

End Time

Index--------------You can choose CPU,Memory,Device Unreachability Proportion% and so on

Performance View--From here you can choose the "Parameter Value" you have.

If you don't have any Parameter, then you can create them by "Resource"->"Performance View" , then add it.

That's all, hope you can understand my explaination.

Good luck!

Yen,

I ran the scheduled report, but not able to view it.  The only option I see is "History Repot", but nothing is in there.

Any idea.

or may be I am looking at the report that I scheduled.

Re: Exporting data to Excel or other Applications with IMC

Hi Aali,

I think if you can't see anything showing on "History Report", then you better try to restart iMC services from server.

Our iMC server also had this problem on backup, schedule report, reboot, telnet login and etc.........

Actually, the requirement that you want is to send them by email with daily, weekly, monthly or yearly base.

There is also a bug over there, we also received some but not all of the report from scheduled.

You better contact HP helpdesk to solve these problem.

In fact, they did say there will be a new 5.2 patch come out soon.

Hopefully, the new patch will solve all the problem you have.

Good luck!
