Re: FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB import fail
It's not a Fortinet MIB. It's an IETF MIB, from RFC2851. There's lots of sources around for it.

Re: FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB import fail
I should also add that INET-ADDRESS ships with IMC. If you're importing MIBS for trap definitions, make sure you tell it to include system MIBs.

Re: FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB import fail
Hi Lindsay,
Need some more help.
Now how to include system MIBs.
What I am doing is to Import trap definition from MIB file
via iMC and placing the files to directory: iMC installation directory/client/TrapMIB.
I also observed INET-ADDRESS file is present @\iMC\client\web\apps\imc\webdm\mibbrowser\mibfile\mib\common directory.
If i copy INET-ADDRESS file it ask for another one !
Failure
"FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB" imports from missing MIB "HCNUM-TC".

Re: FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB import fail
HCNUM-TC is another standard MIB.
Go to Alarm -> Traps -> Trap Definition.
Click "Import trap definition from MIB file"
Click "MIB Upload"
Change the radio button for "Using the System MIB Libary" to Yes
Select a zip file containing the MIBs you want to upload.
Upload them, then compile them & choose the traps to import.

Re: FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB import fail
Hi Lindsay,
Thank You. I did not find the below option in my 7.0
"Click "MIB Upload"
Change the radio button for "Using the System MIB Libary" to Yes"
But I simply solved the problem by adding them. :)

Re: FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB import fail
The option must have come in during the 7.x series. I've got 7.2 in my lab. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like.
You might want to look at upgrading. 7.0 is starting to get a little old.
But anyway, good to know it's working now.
