HPE 10504 <-> 10508 IRF question

I have a question.

1) Is the HPE 10504 <-> HPE 10508 switch IRF possible?

2) Is the comware 5 <-> comware 7 switch IRF possible?

I understand that IRF is not possible for different switches / different versions. right?

1. Yes, it is possible. Though it is possible, it doesn't comply with best practices:

Q. Can one 10500 model form an IRF fabric with other 10500 models?

2. No, CW5 and CW7 absolutely can't co-exist in one IRF stack
