HPE IMC 7.2 / Config-Backup from 2920-Stack
hi@all
I have a problem with a 2920 stack / IMC Backup run/startupconfig.
(WB.15.18.0007)
I do not get a backup of the startup / runconfig from the switch.
Snmp / telnet accesses and tested.
Does one know the problem?

Re: HPE IMC 7.2 / Config-Backup from 2920-Stack
Like the message says, Login Type is set to None.
Just picking a template alone is not enough. On the Device Details page, there's a Login type drop-down box, where you can choose SSH, Telnet or None. Set it to Telnet.

Re: HPE IMC 7.2 / Config-Backup from 2920-Stack
It works this time because when you recreated the device, you set the Login Type to Telnet. (It might even be the default, I don't recall).
All you had to do was change the Login Type. You didn't need to delete the device. The Template by itself doesn't set the login type.
