How to Reset iMC 7.1 remote SQL User & Password
Hi All,
i need to change the iMC 7.1 user & Password for connecting to the Remote SQL,
can some help,

Howdy,
You might want to have a read of this forum thread before you change anything.
A user doing a database change broke the IMC - SQL connectivity and it took a lot of effort to get it back.
There is a file (see the other post) which contains the MS SQL connectivity details and a *hashed* password.
You might want to err on the side of caution and see if you can get a step by step guide from HPE support that will walk you through the process. There was also talk of a tool that HPE support can use to regenerate that parameter file.

Check the IMC manuals -e.g. the SQL Server 2014 Installation and Configuration Guide says to use pwdmgr.bat to change DB passwords.
