IMC - Manages Windows Servers?
Does IMC manage Windows Servers and endpoints OR does it just collect information for asset management?

Re: IMC - Manages Windows Servers?
What means "manage"?
IMC collets SNMP-Information and polls some services and con create the tickets. But i think thats all. but there should come more in future.

Re: IMC - Manages Windows Servers?
Hello,
As said before, IMC basically collects SNMP information (CPU Usage, Memory, interfaces bandwidth ...).
But now with the APM module (Application Manager) you can go deaper in details.
For instance with this module you can collect :
- Detailed performance information, such as CPU, Memory, Availability, Disk usage, process memory usage, services running ... for both windows (using WMI) and Linux servers (using CLI)
- Detailed database (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Sybase and DB2) performance information : request, thread, buffer, operation ... statistics
- Application Web Server statistics
- Mail server statistics
- LDAP statistics ...
And so you will have beautifful reports on these statistics (which can be exported, emailed ...) and also you can define some thresholds to generate alarms (and view impacted services ...). Here is an example of a report and impacted services :
Impact topo :
