IMC - Radius Server configuration : Failed to config domain 'x.y'

iMC PLAT 5.2 (E0401)

Hi,

Just to let you know something I've just discovered.

With IMC, when configuring a Radius Server with a domain name that includes a dot (.) , the following message appears:

"Failed to config RADIUS server. Possible reason: Failed to config domain."

test.intra  -> FAILED

test-intra -> SUCCESS (with a slash (-) )

If someone managed to work with a dotted domain name and Radius, please let me know.

Hi,

not sure if I understand the issue correctly:

* Do you try to configure this on the device or

* Do you use an IMC template config push to the device

thanks,Peter

Re: IMC - Radius Server configuration : Failed to config domain 'x.y'

Hi,

I just want to configure the RADIUS server for access devices.

For this, I use the "RADIUS Server Configuration" link under the Device Management section on the selected device's "Device Details" page.

(see page 292 - HP Intelligent Management Center Base Platform Administrator Guide (iMC PLAT 5.2(E0401)).pdf for configuration detail).

If you enter a domain name like "test-domain". The RADIUS configuration on the selected switch will be successful.

But if you enter  "test.domain" as a domain name, it fails.

I don't know why ?
