Installing iMC standard platform 5.0 on 64bit CentOS 6.0 with mysql.
I have several issues with the installation. The first one was to even make the installation start. I needed the X11 i686 libraries, because the installation gui seems to be a 32bit program.
Anyway that one is now solved by installing libX11.i686, libXext.i686 and libXtst.i686 in case someone else is struggling with this.
So now my problem is, that when I start the gui and go to the "Checking installation environments" I get Not Passed on the Checking database connectivity.. stage. But my root access to the mysql databse is ok. I have followed the Mysql manual completely
