Latest weirdness - IMC keeps changing device role for switch

iMC PLAT 7.1 (E0303P16)

I've got a switch that I've set a role for to Router, and IMC keeps changing it to Virtual Device. I get a trap for device role changes every 1-2 hours.

Tried delete and rediscover. Unmanage/manage. Mostly annoying but does affect some features besides generating a bunch of alarms.

Any other ideas?

Odd. Is it changing the Device Model, or just the Device Category?

I haven't tried changing Category on an individual device basis. I wouldn't have been terribly surprised to see it resetting the category to Switch. But I don't know what's making it decide to change it to Virtual Device. Very strange.
