Hi Everyone,
I'm consider newbie on IMC platform.
My iMC platform here is 7.2
Had APM,SHM,NTA,WSM
Before this, platform and modules are installed differents servers. Had 4 servers total.
1: SQL Database Server
2: iMC 7.2 Platform server
3: Modules
4: Modules
At first time done installation, iMC platform and modules are working fine excepts NTA. It keep says "failed to obtain data information" in database space information.
But now use the other way to settle only NTA issue to verify what's going on SQL Database Server setting.
The way configure as :
1: SQL installed with full permissions on all services (sa)
2: iMC platform install at the same SQL database server
3: NTA modules install at the same server too
After done installation, it able to view database space information, such as "how many storage % used"
At Global :-
sFlow Version: 5
sFlow Global Information:
Agent IP:10.22.1.2(Auto)
Source Address:
Collector Information:
ID IP Port Aging Size VPN-instance Description
1 10.13.184.221 9021 N/A 1400 CLI Collector
2 6343 0 1400
3 6343 0 1400
4 6343 0 1400
5 6343 0 1400
6 6343 0 1400
7 6343 0 1400
8 6343 0 1400
9 6343 0 1400
10 6343 0 1400
sFlow Port Information:
Interface CID Interval(s) FID MaxHLen Rate Mode Status
GE1/0/23 1 120 1 128 20000 Random Active
At switch :-
port 1/0/24
sflow sampling-rate 20000
sflow flow collector 1
sflow counter interval 120
sflow counter collector 1
At iMC NTA page :-
1: Device Management
> Added device IP address
> SNMP : done
> SNMP port : 161
> NetStream Statistics : Valid
> NetStream New Feature : Enable
> sFlow Setting : disable
2: Server Management
> IP : 127.0.0.1
> Others : DEFAULT
> Selected : Device IP address wanted to monitor by NTA
3: Traffic Analysis Management
> Task name : NTA
> Description : NTA
> Type : Interface
> Reader : 3 of them
> VLAN Analysis : Disable
> Baseline Analysis : Disable
> Thereshold Anaysis : Disable
> Selected : Interface 1/0/24
But wait for around 15 minutes, still can't get any result. Anyone can help?
*IMPORTANT* :
This 4 of the servers aren't physical server , they are using VM but not sure what type VM they using.
If VM, is there any add-ons need to be install or anywhere can download? Need help...
Help share if anyone see this haven't solved or didn't receive any replies... Thank You

Re: (NEEDS HELP) on HP iMC
Thanks for replying , and apologize late reply.
But I found the issue root cause is from firewall.
The actual environment is because they wanted to add another state switches sFlow (NTA) to flow back HQ iMC , but firewall blocks the source and destination and ports. So make it unable to retrieve information on iMC. But after allows specific port 6343 and source/destination everything works!
Again, thanks for help and appreciate your reply.
